  1. A circle has a radius of 5 cm. What is its circumference? (Use π ≈ 3.14)

    Answer: 31.4 cm

    Circumference = 2πr = 2 × 3.14 × 5 = 31.4 cm.

  2. Two angles of a triangle measure 45° and 75°. What is the measure of the third angle?

    Answer: 60°

    The sum of angles in a triangle is 180°, so the third angle = 180 − 45 − 75 = 60°.

  3. A square has a perimeter of 36 cm. What is the length of one side?

    Answer: 9 cm

    A square has 4 equal sides, so each side = 36 ÷ 4 = 9 cm.

  4. What is the volume of a rectangular box that is 5 cm long, 4 cm wide, and 3 cm tall?

    Answer: 60 cm³

    Volume = length × width × height = 5 × 4 × 3 = 60 cm³.

  5. On a coordinate plane, what is the distance between points (0, 0) and (3, 4)?

    Answer: 5

    Using the distance formula: √(3² + 4²) = √(9 + 16) = √25 = 5.

  6. If a triangle has a base of 10 cm and a height of 6 cm, what is its area?

    Answer: 30 cm²

    Area of a triangle = ½ × base × height = ½ × 10 × 6 = 30 cm².
