AZ Notary — Arizona does not administer a single standardized state exam; however, applicants must complete an approved 4-hour notary training course (per A.R.S. §41-313) administered by the Arizona Secretary of State's office, which includes a competency assessment. This exam mirrors the knowledge domains tested in that assessment and covered by Arizona Revised Statutes Title 41, Chapter 2 (§§41-311 through 41-399).
