AQL Academic and Quantitative Literacy VIP Practice Exam II
AQL — The AQL (Academic and Quantitative Literacy) test is a component of South Africa's National Benchmark Tests (NBTs), administered by the Centre for Educational Testing for Access and Placement (CETAP) at UCT. The full AQL test runs approximately 3 hours and contains around 75 multiple-choice questions assessing both Academic Literacy (reading, vocabulary, text structure, language conventions) and Quantitative Literacy (data interpretation, numeracy, estimation, and proportional reasoning). Universities use results to classify students as Basic, Intermediate, or Proficient for placement decisions.
