American Orthoptic Council (AOC) Certification Examination
The AOC written board exam certifies orthoptists (C.O.) by testing knowledge of binocular vision disorders, strabismus, amblyopia, ocular anatomy, optics, and diagnostic instrumentation. It is taken electronically at a Pearson VUE Testing Center and must be passed before the oral and practical components.
