AMCAT — The AMCAT (Aspiring Minds Computer Adaptive Test) is a computer-adaptive standardized employability assessment administered by Aspiring Minds (now part of SHL); it evaluates candidates across four core modules — Quantitative Ability (~16 questions, 16 min), Logical Reasoning (~14 questions, 14 min), Verbal/English (~25 questions, 25 min), and Computer Programming (~35 questions, 35 min), plus an optional Automata coding module — and is used by thousands of companies in India and globally to screen fresh graduates. There is no single universal pass percentage; hiring companies set their own score cutoffs, typically targeting the 60th–75th percentile.
