ALCPT — The ALCPT (American Language Course Placement Test) is administered by the Defense Language Institute English Language Center (DLIELC) on behalf of the U.S. Department of Defense; it is a 100-question multiple-choice test of English grammar, vocabulary, and reading comprehension used to place non-native English speaking military and civilian personnel into appropriate English language training courses, with scores ranging from 0–100.
