AGO — The American Guild of Organists (AGO) administers four levels of written and practical certification: Service Playing Certificate (SPC), Colleague (CAGO), Associate (AAGO), and Fellow (FAGO); written components test music theory, counterpoint, organ history and repertoire, service playing, figured bass, and liturgical knowledge, with passing thresholds typically in the 70–75% range depending on level.
