ABPS — The American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) Written (Part I) Qualifying Examination is a computer-based exam administered by the ABMS member board; it consists of approximately 300 multiple-choice questions covering the full breadth of plastic surgery knowledge, including wound healing, reconstructive surgery, aesthetic surgery, hand surgery, craniofacial surgery, burns, and microsurgery, with a passing threshold near the 75th percentile on a scaled score.
