Property & Casualty Insurance License Test retake policy — how long do you have to wait?

Does anyone know the official retake policy for Property & Casualty Insurance License Test?

I'm asking because I have a work deadline coming up and I want to know if I should rush into my first attempt or wait until I'm more confident. If I can retake quickly I might just take it now and use it as a diagnostic.

Also — does failing show up anywhere official? Like on a transcript or employer-facing record?

I just finished my Property & Casualty Insurance License Test last month and my experience was almost identical. The exam day tips section especially — I showed up without two forms of ID the first time and nearly couldn't sit for it.
