I keep seeing wildly different study timelines for US - Citizenship Test — anywhere from 3 weeks to 6 months.

I get that it depends on your background, but I'd love to hear real numbers from people who've actually done it.

My situation: I have relevant field experience but no formal cert prep. Currently doing practice tests at https://practicetestgeeks.com/us-citizenship-test to gauge where I'm at. My diagnostic score was around 68% — passing is typically 70%+ so I'm close but not there yet.

The retake policy varies by state/certifying body. I had to wait 30 days. Check the official candidate handbook — it should spell it out.
 
Bookmarked. I've been looking for a realistic comparison like this for weeks. Most of what I found online was either from prep companies with an obvious sales angle or was 3+ years old.
