I keep seeing wildly different study timelines for AWS - Amazon Web Services Associate — anywhere from 3 weeks to 6 months.

I get that it depends on your background, but I'd love to hear real numbers from people who've actually done it.

My situation: I have relevant field experience but no formal cert prep. Currently doing practice tests at https://practicetestgeeks.com/aws-amazon-web-services-associate to gauge where I'm at. My diagnostic score was around 68% — passing is typically 70%+ so I'm close but not there yet.

How long did you study? What was your starting diagnostic score? Drop your story below.

Solid breakdown. I'd add: the night before, don't cram. Do one easy practice set just to stay warm, then sleep. Your brain consolidates material during sleep better than it does during a last-minute review session.

Bookmarked. I've been looking for a realistic comparison like this for weeks. Most of what I found online was either from prep companies with an obvious sales angle or was 3+ years old.

Appreciate you sharing the failure story. Most threads are just people celebrating passes and it makes you feel like everyone else has it figured out. The struggle is real for a lot of us.
