Sharing everything I wish I knew before my DVM - Doctor of Veterinary Medicine exam day. Post your own tips below.

What to bring:
  • Government ID (two forms recommended — some centers ask for a backup)
  • Confirmation email printed AND on your phone
  • Nothing else — most centers don't allow bags, phones, or notes in the testing room

What to expect:
  • Arrive 15-30 minutes early for check-in (biometrics at some centers)
  • You'll get a locker for your stuff
  • Scratch paper or whiteboard may be provided — ask at check-in
  • Breaks are allowed but the clock keeps running (learned this the hard way)

Mindset:
The practice tests at https://practicetestgeeks.com/dvm-doctor-of-veterinary-medicine will have you better prepared than most people in the room. Trust your prep and don't second-guess answers you were confident on.

Appreciate you sharing the failure story. Most threads are just people celebrating passes and it makes you feel like everyone else has it figured out. The struggle is real for a lot of us.

+1 to everything here. I had the exact same experience with the scenario questions — that tip about asking "what would an experienced professional do" is genuinely useful.
