Drag to construct direction handles, then release to draw a curve when creating an anchor point. Drag to make a smooth point to change the direction of a route while drawing. Allow the mouse button to be released. To split them, hold down the Alt key and drag the handle’s end.

In Illustrator, make a shape. From your toolbox, choose the Gradient Tool. Under Appearance, go to the Fill box. This brings up the Gradient Tool’s options window, where you may pick between linear, radial, or freeform gradients in “Type:.” To pick the colors you want to graduate between, double-click the circles at each end of the gradient bar. Choose an object or a group to work with. Select Window and then Align. Select Align, then click Align to Art Board. To center the object or group, use the Illustrator Horizontal Align Center and Vertical Align Center buttons on the navigation bar or in the Align window.

Make a selection of the objects whose colors you want to change. Select Edit, then Colors. Select Adjust Color Balance. Fill and Stroke options should be set. Click OK after adjusting the color settings.

Select the CMYK color mode objects. Select Edit from the menu. Choose Edit Colors and select Recolor Artwork.  Move to the right of the color adjustment sliders and choose the swatches icon. To limit the colors used in your drawing to Pantone swatches, choose Color Books and choose a Pantone color book. Click the OK button.
